pwm fan splitter

I have some TX3 fan splitter cables I want to use on my 120mm PWM case fans so I can have them all daisy chained to the one sys fan connector on my motherboard.
The TX3 splitter says it is only compatible with fans up to 92mm in diameter.

Any reason why these would not work with 120mm fans?
It really would be nice if all case fans that are pwm had an additional 3 pin split on them for easy daisy chaining.

pwm has 4 pins, not 3. and daisy-chaining is serial, like a chain. what you're talking about is parallel. several 120mm fans are probably too much current for 1 mobo header.
