PVR 350 Motherboard conflict..

Hi,
I'm trying to set up PVR 350 but whenever i insert it into my PCI slot it's not being detected.:| I have come to know that there's a conflict between some motherboards & PVR 350 & also that it only works on PCI 2.1 cards. 😛 I have this board http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/d865gsa/ & it's PCI 2.3 compliant.

I have searched a bit but havent come across 2.1 PCI card in Intel. I have come across 2.0 cards. Are they both the same ? & what will be difference between the current 2.3 to 2.1 if i change ? Will it affect the performance of the system ?
