I use to have this working just fine, before i reformatted last. However i remember last time i also had trouble and then all i did was stick in the CD that states it has MCE drivers as well. But now I cant get it to work no matter what i try.
I tried using just the disc. I followed hauppage's instructions and i still get the same message over and over again, when I go to settings->TV: tuner not found, the tuner hardware is either not installed or malfunctioning etc etc.

i use the HCWClear.exe file to completely uninstall anything hauppage, then i restart, and when the popup for new hardware comes up, i point it to the WHQL drivers i downloaded from hauppage. It installs fine. But under MCE, it still seems to not see it. Am i missing something? shouldnt it just take the drivers and then there?

also, i installed the nvidia pure video decoder a while before i installed the tuner. did i do something out of order? second, i installed wintv2k, and it works fine, i can watch tv on that, but not the MCE app., same error always

any help would be greatly appreciated
