pvr-150 driver installation woes

Hello All,

I'm having a problem installing my pvr-150 card. Windows will recognize it and *try* to install the drivers, but when you point it to the directory they are located, windows says the hardware cannot be installed because the required software is not on your computer. Running XP with SP2 this is not an MCE card.

any help is greatly appreciated. If you need any more info, LMK.

Thanks,
Matt

You have to go through device manager and update the driver for the 2 devices (audio, video) before you can install the software. I don't think they have an installer package that does it all for you yet.

Download the 3 files and follow the instructions listed on that page.

i did this.
i tried older versions of the drivers using other instructions as well.

I have not tried installing new drivers for a/v. BTW I'm (trying to get this) running on a shuttle.

in device manager it shows the PVR card as a multimedia card with a question mark next to it because it doesnt know what driver to use.
