i am having a really weird downloading problem; it's either my client (bulletproof ftp, leechftp) or the server, or something else. i'll try to describe it the best i can.
after downloading a few files in the queue, EITHER bulletproof stops, or the ftp SERVER stops.. there are more files in the queue, but they don't get processed; or, if there are no more files in the queue, bulletproof does not disconnect (i have set the option to disconnect after all files are transferred). i cannot decide if the problem is bulletproof or the server, for the following reasons:
1. when i notice that things have stopped, i'll immediately (within 3 seconds of things stopping) hit the refresh (F5) to reprocess the directory, just to get something going between my computer and the server.. but bulletproof will say that the "server has closed connection" and try to reconnect.
2. i have tried using leechFTP, and i get the same problem.
3. this doesn't happen when i am downloading at relatively high speeds (maybe 20kb/sec and up.. it _seems_ to only happen when i'm downloading at 10kb/sec and lower).
4. the queue doesn't seem to be getting processed, as described above.
5. i've downloaded from a G6 server and a RaidenFTP server.. same problem.
6. the servers are 100% NO RATIO (i can download as much as i want without uploading anything); i have checked with the site admins.
if anyone can help me out i would really appreciate it!
