Puzzlequest for the Wii

So I bought puzzle quest for the wii, thinking my wife might also play if it's on the Wii instead of Steam. The text is so small, I need to walk to the TV to read it sometimes. Just a warning for any one that's considering it.

What size is your screen and how far away do you sit?

27" TV and about 8' away. I'm thinking it's just a bad port. They don't even have options to adjust the screen. Also when using the pointer, you can tell it's not very smooth.

I would think movie subtitles, etc would not be very legible at that distance. I would think that the optimal distance to sit from that size TV while gaming would be ~4'.
