Putting together a Micro ATX PC

Hi, thx for stopping in.

Looking at an MSI 6791-FX mobo, but can't find much info. Good board? HT support?

Ebay power supplies are almost all Chiefmax. Can't find much on those either. Are they any good? If not, any models recommended.

Planning on going with a 6 series card, 512-1024ram, 80gigs or so.

All coments, suggestions etc are appreciated.

Dunno about that particular board, but I've had good results from MSI over the years. I wouldn't expect a lot of features, and you'll have to be sure to pair it with a processor of the right series.

Any of the Fortron/Sparkle power supplies of 350W should be entirely adequate. Tough to beat for the money.

Three questions for you that will help us to help you.

1) Do you already have any parts that you plan on using or do you need to buy everything?

2) What budget are you working with?

3) What is the intended use for the system?
