Putting sand back on the beach is a crime

I guess if you choose to live next to a beach, or next to a desert, this is what you have to live with.

I suggest you shovel it into a dump truck and dump it on the front lawn of the City Hall in the middle of the night. Then if they try to get rid of it lets see if they hire someone to remove it. I am just kidding. This would probably be breaking the law as well.

He should probably bag the stuff up in sand bags and sell it when it snows to motorists. The roads are probably the responsibility of the municipality.

I don't know, I don't live next to a beach, but this is the sand that is light enough for the wind to pick up and blow. If he puts it back on the beach it will just blow again, no?? And then end up in someone else's yard/garden?

Yes, a never ending problem.

However, erosion of the beach can be a big problem with serious consequences. It needs to be put back. Better yet are putiing the appropriate (native) plants to forestall the problem in all but the most severe weather.
