So we just got like a foot of snow here in PA. Tomorrow is vday and we had plans of going out. Well, with 3 cars in our family and a bunch of other ppl fighting for parking spots, I doubt I'm gonna be able to make it. I told her I'll make it up to her another day (sometime next week), but she's pissed off. Grrr

Sheesh, she tells me what's more important, parking spot or her? Well, if I come home and cant find a parking spot, I'll be pissed off.

Show up anyways with some roses and chocolates.
Better yet, park your car a few blocks down the road and act as if you walked there just to see her!

Hahaha, you're skipping valentine's day over a freaking parking spot.

I can see it now - your mom is in the hospital dying of cancer and you call up and say, "sorry mom, I can't make it, it's 4:30 so traffic's going to be a bitch right now, I'll come down around 7:00, it should be better then."

i hope that you are not whining because you are gonna have to walk a few extra feet if you drive to dinner...

People put stuff out to keep their spot. You can move it, but expect damage to your car.
Wow, and the people who "own" these spots don't receive damage to their cars? If that's the case, put chairs on your spot.

Gotta love the entitlement in that practice. "This is my spot, this chair says so"

Man am I glad I don't have to put up with that BS.

People make too much a deal on v-day. It is like every other day.
BTW, if you choose to go out for dinner for that day, it will be crowded and the service likely to be suck.
