Putting house on market

I have 2 lens's 75-300 f/ 4.0 - 5.6
28 - 90 canon

and an xti,

the house has a half acre in the front and the back there is a barrier on the side and has a side garage 2 story house with out basement

does any one have any tips on taking pictures?

not sure if the 28 will be wide enough, you might be ok though

follow the rule of thirds

houses have a lot of horizontal and vertical 'lines', don't center them - put them in the '3rd' lines instead

theres a lot of good examples of rule of thirds, google it :)

Here is another possibility to consider. This shot was with a 70-300mm (DO)(IS) lens from the opposite side of the street. It is not a single picture - but a 5 shot vertical panoramic. The vertical format allowed the street to above the roof - then I stiched 4 more frames, all overlapping by 50%.

Pan

It's a good way of getting close and increasing coverage beyond the scope of a lens - and also does not have the vertical distortion of a very wide angle lens, such as a 16mm.
