Is this a bad idea?

Actually no, im my own apartment. I have a walk-in closet though that i would rather put the fridge into, rather than rearranging my room to fit it.

If it is REALLY big maybe. You need air circulatino though. When my dorm room gets really hot, the contents of the freezer don't freeze and the non-freezer stuff gets really not-cold. And thats just sitting in a corner (without a fan... having a fan blwoing nearby cools everything back down)

friend has a mini-fridge in his dorm.. it's small.. no circulation.. fridge has no problems running... it is afterall just a mini fridge.
people always shove fridges into cutout areas in their kitchens and give no circulation at the back... never seems to affect them much..

I've seen mini-fridges stuffed in the samllest areas in the college dorm rooms. A walk in closet shouldn't be a problem at all.

Should have no problem, I have a mini Kenmore in my closet for years never had any problems with cooling. I even have stuff covering the coils behind the fridge, all my left over computer parts.

I have a suggestion.

Clean it up and polish it nicely before ya start then paint it black let it dry turn that sumbitch sideways and stick it straight up your candy @ss.

It'll fit just dont clench.
