'puter recognizes cd-rw as cd-rom....

well, this is a first for me, and i've never seen this issue brought up here before so... i installed this sony 16/10/40 cd-rw in a tyan trinity 400/p3-866/matrox/sblive equipped box. system devices calls out two sony cd-rom drives with correct model #'s. (yup, the cd-rom is a sony drive also.) i have the cd-r set up as secondary master and cd-rom as secondary slave, with cd-r as "D" drive and cd-rom as "E" drive in device properties. guys, is there something wrong with this setup that i'm just not seeing here? thanks for your comments. T2
 
that happens to me all the time. its normal dont worry about it. it still works as a cdrw. i have a plex 24/10/40.
