Put Yourself On THE Map!!

I was checking out TA map out earlier. For anyone that doesn't know about it, it is on the www.TeamAnandTech.com site. www.teamanandtech.com/map.
I encourage anyone that hasn't stucked themself one there to do so. This just gives us a better idea of which members live by eachother . You just need to find your Latitude and Longitude from any site, download a small browser plug-in, and you have it!

It is pretty cool if members want to meet somewhere (LAN parties come to mind). Thats it for now, just wanted to get as many on the map as possible .

It was for me too. I just had to go to the main page for the map to view it, and it prompted me to download the plugin there.

Geekish Thoughts: Yes, I initially tried the plugin link, but it failed. If you go to the page for the map there's a good chance (browser dependent) it will prompt you to download the plugin.

BiggieN, I'm 60 miles s/w of chicago. It's a little bit too much to the east but I'm pretty much right where G|T is.

I'm already on the map. Just looked and guess, my map-location is not anywhere near my physical location. LOL
Didn't check when I entered the coordinates.

On the map I live in the west of Britian, but actually I live in the west of The Netherlands, near The Hague.

Mika, if you read this can you change the coordinates, so I can look at myself in the proper location.
