Put the wrong name in and now I can't access the computer over the network.

Both systems are running Windows XP. I reinstalled my desktop so the laptop asked for a login/pass again. I put the wrong name in and now it won't pop up again to ask me for the correct name. Just keeps telling me it won't connect. Is there a way to force xp on my desktop to ask for the login/pass to the network share again?

Edit: Found out how to connect using a different name but now it's telling me the network share I know exists can't be found. Says The network path \\laptop\cshare could not be found.
They ping each other just fine.
