Put the Christmas Tree up today

Our next door neighbor was having a moving sale, and my girlfriend bought a 4 foot Fiber-optic Christmas Tree for $40. (reg price $100) It was brand new and still in the box. I was curious to what these fiber-optic trees looked like, because I've heard they were very popular last year, but never seen one in person.

So, I took it out of the box and plugged it in, and holy crap! These things are so mesmerizing! The changing colors are like a fireworks show, but very subtle and very calming. Absolutely beautiful! It's a shame I will have to put it back in the box and wait another 3 Months before it's Christmas season.

It's going to stay up for the weekend. Watching it produces such a calming effect. Almost like that from meditation. I can't say I've every been addicted to staring at a artificial tree before, but this is sure close.
