I put my part of my one computer into a new case so I could make room for a new computer but I have a little problem now. All I did was to take all my parts out of my one case which I will be putting new parts in and put them into my new case and in my device manager now I have an exclamation mark in other devices and it says pci device. I did not put any new parts in I just had to take them out to move the mobod etc. The only thing I have in a pci slot is an audigy 2 zs gamer which has not caused me any problems before. It works great and everything seems to be fine. I have xp pro with an amd 4400+ along with and ati 2600xt.
Anyone seen this before?

I did reinstall the drivers. I wonder if I need to uninstall first and then reinstall? What do you think?

That would be best...

Uninstall old & new ones in control panel.
Cleanup the whatever is left using Driver Cleaner or Driver Sweeper while in safe mode.
Reinstall new drivers.

There are many creative names in the add/remove panel. Does anyone happen to know for sure which one is the creative driver? It does not say driver.

Actually I found them under soundblaster. Wasn't looking close enough and they just popped out at me. Still didn't make a difference though. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Same thing happened. I will have to try some other things here later.

I have an Creative Soundblaster Audigy2 ZS using the latest drives and only have 1 entry for it. So unless you have a handful of creative mp3 players or some other products something is not right. You should uninstall all creative drivers. Once again with a few changes,

Download the latest drivers, Driver Cleaner or Driver Sweeper and Crap Cleaner.
Install Driver Cleaner or Driver Sweeper.
Reboot into safe mode
Uninstall all creative drivers in control panel. Reboot when asked.
Then use Driver Cleaner or Driver Sweeper to clean up anything that could of not been uninstalled.
Then reboot normally
Run Crap Cleaner's Registry Cleaner until their are zero errors found.
Now reinstall new drivers.
