I recently bought a second hand pentium mboard (pc chips 560 tx pro)
the jumpers are set correctly and i have also tried both 72 pin and 168 ram in this. the prob is the machine posts ,checks the ram, even finds the hard drive by itself but then thats it ,it just hangs and will not go any further,it will look at the floppy drive but not do anything with thateither the whole machine just stops..
Any ideas???

reset the bios start over.. take everthing out but what is needed to start the PC

That sounds like a similar problem I had and it was with RAM timing.
