I just checked completed sales prices for my 1070. Looks like I can get back what I paid for it 18 months ago, maybe a bit more. It would be tempting to sell if I were closer to buying a new rig but I think that is still a year or two out. My circa 2010 rig is still doing fine.

I am sure if you could sell it for $3000 + you would do it in a heartbeat.

That is enough for a new rig then some to save!

Damn... I can sell my 6 GB GeForce 1060 for slightly more than what I paid for it ($280) 14 months ago on eBay. That's insane.

Why not just mine with it? You are selling away the profit.

Nvidia has the capability to sell shovels in a gold rush, you are just one person selling a single shovel!

I wanted to buy two 1070 TI's to start mining but could only find one. I'm on night shift and also waiting for fans to come in so I can't install it now but I'm almost debating on if I just flip it... did not even open the box yet as I didn't have time. Paid $700 for it, can probably get ike $1,000. On the other hand that's only $300 profit and I might make more mining, so I will keep it. Just sucks, since I wanted to build a 6 card rig and can't. Go big or go home. But I'll have to settle I guess.

Wonder if any sites will let you preorder the 1090, assuming that's the next model. Probably will limit to like 1 per customer though.
