Put flash player and videos directly on my site

Is there a way I can put or download a flash player to my website so that I can configure my own settings on the videos etc, instead of having to use youtube.

I know some sites have flv web flash players, and I'm looking for one that I could use, paid or not, on my website. (One that looks decent and is similar to youtube's play/pause/ look.
