Is there any way to get (or get something that's pretty close to) PUSH email (email that arrives without having to check it) on my blackberry without a special blackberry wireless account?

specifically, I'm wondering if I can get some sort of PUSH email using the 4.99 T-zones plan from T-mobile

in fact, wouldn't it be possible to just set the blackberry to check email automatically while it's in my pocket every 30secs or something, with no ill side-effects?

You need to be on the Blackberry Enterprise Server (aka, special plan) in order to get email on the thing, don't you?

if you are up on your java for wireless devices go ahead write the script. I'll even market it for you.
