Yes. One of my friends goes by Phill, but his real name is patrick. I think... Or was it the other way around... Anyway, I use either interchangably.

Wrong names are often used when we introduce each other, and we often use racist terms as nicks. I refer to one of my spanish friends as beloved patriot (we all do) and often need to think a bit to come up with his name. Chinks and charlies run rampant.
