On top of my bolded mod response in the thread, I "asked" him by pm to tone down his attack approach.

For future reference, spidey, these matters are not "personal forum issues." The only legitimate venue for inquiring about taken or hoped for moderator action is Moderator Discussions. Please use it next time.
