Purpose of the Ratings?

Well answer these questions for me and then descide.

1. Are you a Reseller?
2. Do you want users to give you false ratings?
3. Er... there is no 3 but makes me sound smarter if I include it! 🙂😛🙂

If the answer to the first two are NO then you don't need it.
If YES then have it.

Ratings are used by resellers, or people who don't really know what the Rating function is used for. This subject has been rasied many times here actually!

Anyway its not worth having the rating thing on! Adds more stress casue most people don't really know how to use it properly apart from people who use the Reseller forum, For Sale/Trade Forum.

Hahhahaahhaa, urban is right...since ANYONE can give you a 1, how would that reflect on how good of a trader you are? I hope you are kidding...
 
I think it A2KLAU means that's what they could be used for. Maybe not the intended purpose of the ratings but it people were only rated on the basis of their trading, then that might prove useful. But obviously it doesn't work that way and I guess we can just use Heatware and e-bay ratings.
 
It would be nice to revamp the rating system so that it would mean something. It should be able to include who did the rating and also, let us know if 1 or 10 is the better number.
