Purpose of Terrorism

Having done research on terrorism ( mostly asian communism) i learned that the purpose of terrorism is to convince the population that the government can no longer protect them. I believe it is Mazlow's hiearchy that put the feeling of safety as the 2nd most basic of human needs. The recent attack has shown us that we are not as safe as we thought. Unfortunately a reality check is not all bad. except of course, it's horrible. but. since we cannot have the feelings of safety that we once had we must create these same basic uneasy feelings in those responsible for our unrest until we can be reasonable assured that our safety is once again reasonably guaranteed. The die is cast. The only way out is through and lack of victory (as defined as personal safety for Americans in the USA) will be our and your end.
