Purported Alien life form video to be shown Friday

A video that purportedly shows a living, breathing space alien will be shown to the news media Friday in Denver.

Jeff Peckman, who is pushing a ballot initiative to create an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission in Denver to prepare the city for close encounters of the alien kind, said the video is authentic and convinced him that aliens exist.

"As impressive as it is, it's still one tiny portion in the context of a vast amount of peripheral evidence," he said Wednesday. "It's really the final visual confirmation of what you already know to be true having seen all the other evidence."

When Peckman went before city officials this month to discuss his proposed ET initiative, he promised to show the video.

Peckman said the general public will have to wait to see it because it's being included in a documentary by Stan Romanek.

"No one will be allowed to film the segment with the extraterrestrial because there is an agreement in place limiting that kind of exposure during negotiations for the documentary," he said.

But people won't have to wait too long to see it for themselves.

"There is an open, public meeting in about a month in Colorado Springs," Peckman said. "We'll hope to do one in Denver at some point, and then in a few months, there will be the documentary that anybody can have, and it'll have the footage."

An instructor at the Colorado Film School in Denver scrutinized the video "very carefully" and determined it was authentic, Peckman said.

Peckman, 54, said the video was among the reasons he was "compelled" to launch the proposed ballot initiative, which has generated news as far as South Africa.

"It shows an extraterrestrial's head popping up outside of a window at night, looking in the window, that's visible through an infrared camera," he said. The alien is about 4 feet tall and can be seen blinking, Peckman said earlier this month.

In a statement, Peckman said "other related credible evidence" proving aliens exist will be shown at Friday's news conference, too.

In 2003, Peckman authored an off-beat ballot initiative that would have required the city to implement stress-reduction techniques. The "Safety Through Peace" initiative failed, but garnered 32 percent of the vote.

I suppose this could have gone in P&N as I pulled it off of Drudge and it's source is a legitimate news outlet but the silliness factor is just too great. :D
Does anyone think anything will actually become of this? Be courageous and speak up.
I have to admit I love when this stuff makes the front page though.
Nothing is as good as quality Sci-fi.:)
So the question is will it be a midget in a suite or killer CGI?

I'm not expecting much but to see a real, live wacko.

It's funny when threads like this are made, because there will be members of this forum that believe it. A couple years ago there was a thread showing pictures that were obviously computer generated, yet there were people who argued to no end claiming that they're real.

why wait until 5/30? that's kinda stupid. if it was actually real, it'd be on the airwaves already... the government would be all over the guy... nasa would be all over the guy...

and, seriously, why is he the ONLY person to have the video? and why wouldn't the aliens take the camera or kill him or something? i mean, if they've been coming here for a while, they should know that we don't walk around with devices pointed at people unless we intend to kill it... so why wouldn't they act in self-defense? also, why would an alien look in a window? i mean, honestly... wtf? and why would you have a camera recording your window in the first place?

none of it makes sense... it just sounds like a heaven's gate cult leader wannabe trying to push through some legislation...

Even though they've shattered the barriers of space and time to travel around the galaxy, glass has proven to be impenetrable.

While I would love to believe that aliens have visited us, but its just not logical that they could escape the attention of the world, but let a few people see them.

Aliens exist, at least, they have before, and/or they will in the future. If any are alive at this very moment in time in some distant sector of the universe, we will probably never know. It's a possibility an older civilization may have visited Earth some many years ago, but I sincerely doubt they have recently. If they have, and are able to escape all eyes except for some random individual, they have the strangest motives. I want to meet them.
DO YOU READ THIS ALIENS?! VISIT ME! No one will believe me anyway. :)

I'd love for other intelligent life to exist, and the odds are there is, but if we will ever know is another question.

This is probably the guy's attempt to build up some massive hype, which has seemingly worked, just to let us down with something nobody, or everybody, expected in the end. It better be completely non-humanoid, or else I'll just attribute it to his kid dressing up for a staged scene. Seriously, a camera looking at a window? I'd be more apt to believe it, but still highly doubt it, if it had been a home security camera perched at the corner of the house or something, with part of the field of view showing the window.

As far as an alien looking in a window. I wouldn't be one to completely doubt such a behavior. An alien, if one were to touch down on Earth, would probably be very cautious and slink about in the shadows. I say that, because if they have mastered space travel, they obviously know what a window is. Unless they used some kind of portal technology that burrows wormholes through space, but even then, a civilization advanced enough to construct such technology, likely have developed infrastructure to live in. If I visited some foreign planet and saw buildings, my first thing would be slink in the shadows, and maybe peer in any windows to see activity, also to see what the creatures look like if possible, develop a threat analysis of the situation. Then again, I wouldn't be alone if I had a choice. Creatures that develop technology gotta be social in some way, or else they couldn't teach and build technology, as that would mean group effort. More reason to not believe.

LOL-

Alien: "Damn! The window's locked. Tell Zortron to pack everything up and start heading back. We'll have to try to mate with something else."

I love how videos like this never come from respected professors or scientists in physics, astronomy, engineering, or even medicine.

I heard they actually recorded the alien's voice. They didn't pick up all of it, something about our military bases, but supposedly clear as day you can hear, "You have no chance to survive make your time".

:D
