purple screen on every media player.

it came out of blue when i open videos with VLN, media player and etc. the screen comes out in purple color. i have no idea how to get rid of that, how do i do that?

any help?
 
Could be a codec problem. You tried other "types" of videos? I've seen issues before where Divx videos came out green because of codec problems.

Alternately, overlay isn't working. Check driver settings and also make sure you don't have anything running in the background that disables overlay. One such possibility is any software which allows people to remote control your system.
 
This is wierd. I had this happen to my Windows media player. I reinstalled and reinstalled and same thing.

I ended up reloading my OS (which I needed to do anyway.)
