Purging all System restores

I got the trojan WIN32 Gen and I have to purge all system restore and delete it. And I was wondering, will it damage your computer if you purge your system restore?

It won't hurt it. The trojans that are in System Restore are also captives in there, so if your computer is clean now, the only harm those trojans could do is if you were to actually go back to one of those System Restore points. Cleaning out the SR points will eliminate that possibility.
