Purevideo decoder: worth the $$?

The "bronze" decoder is $20. Will it improve DVD quality? Does WinDVD Gold do the same thing? FYI, I have a 7600GT.

Most people seem to use the Microsoft or PowerDVD decoders in Vista. In XP, the Nvidia decoder might be an option. I'd seriously consider the PowerDVD option if you use (or might use) Vista and have any intention of going HD-DVD or Blu-Ray.
 
it ain't worth the cash, if you paying might as well get http://www.coreavc.com/ that's the best h264 decoder money can buy plus they will add g-card acceleration soon so there's definitely more muscle than the purevid stuff and cost less.
