pure tablet (slate) recommendation

I would kinda like to get a pure tablet for viewing pdfs and web pages and etc. By pure tablet I mean one without a keyboard and is a single. Does anyone have any recommendations? I notice that the ones that are out there seem to be kinda expensive compared to ordinary laptops considering the level of power you get.

I would get a convertible.
Without a keyboard you are just screwed and the functionality is impaired a great deal.

I just sold a Fujitsu 5020 1.1 centrino which was a pure tablet..I used it for showing pdfs for sales presentations...it was powerful enough to run office 2007 with no problems...they are pretty spendy new but can be had for $600-$800 on ebay. Mine was under warranty and went for $950 with upgrades on ram and the hard drive.....you can also check craigslist...I was a 5021 in the bay area for $400 which should do what you want it to do..

Fujitsu rules in my humble opinion..build quality was amazing as well as support..
