MacBaine and I live in Wiley, it's a good dorm

Also, I would go with the 15 meal plan. Unless you live in Earhart, you *probably* won't be using 20. I barely use my 15.

None of them are really coed. There is a guys side and a girls side.

15 meal plan is what I always did, and we always went over to Cary to eat. They had the best food. Personally, I chose Owen Hall for 2 years. It is a great location especially during football season.

I wonder how the new "super cafeteria" food will be. I believe it is supposed to open this month.

Shreve. Co-ed, close to Cary (for good food), close to McD's, & Jimmy Johns and somewhat close to the engineering and CS buildings (if that's what you're majoring in).

I don't think this guys is actually looking for an answer. Everytime someone suggests something, he just shoots it down.

Oh, and I'll sign my post to be extra cool.

Lofts need to be built or purchased. They can be purchased from people on campus and they will install them for you, but they charge a bunch. They really are not that hard to build. My second year, my roommate and I built the entire loft on move in day in the dorm room.

Owen your first choice? Wow, that would have been my last. Cary has the best and worst rooms on campus, or at least it does now. Whoever designed it is freeging nuts, there is no coherant floor plan. Rooms range from the 'closets' which are something liek 8x15, to the 'hallways' which are 10x60(!), and everything in between. 2 and 3 room doubles also. In the new buildings, all the rooms also have private bathrooms/sinks.

Owen is not bad at all. It is close to the stadium, has fairly large rooms (ie a freshman won't get the larger rooms at Cary), and is right next door to the new cafeteria. I spent 2 years at Owen and enjoyed it. If I'm still in town when the fall semester starts I'll probably be at Owen pretty often since my sister is going to be an RA there.
