Purchasing things from Best Buy website quesiton.

Regarding items sold on Best Buy's web site listed as "Not available in Store". I understand that they do not stock it at the local B&M but can these items be ordered and sent to the store so I could use promotional coupons/gift cards?

I have a $100 gift card that I would like to use.

There is no way to do that. It would be a nice feature for them to add though.

buy it, and when it gets there return it, and re-buy it.

Not sure I want to try that. If I go in first and talk to one of the guys in the audio dept. do you think they could "arrange" for this item to be shipped to the store?

I don't understand why they don't allow gift card numbers to be entered as a "coupon" code on the website...

When a gift card is "purchased"... it goes into their computer systems... why can't they tie it into the same DB as their commerce system ? ... (or at least replicate it over)
