Purchasing Samsung E715, but heard of white screen problem?

I'm about to purchase a samsung e715 off ebay, but I have heard about some white lcd screen problem? people say it goes white after a while? what is this about? anyone experienced it? Thanks for the input!

Happened to two of my E715's.
Avoid it unless it's under warranty, at least 1 year.

Both mine appeared after 6+ months of usage.

True, it does happen for no reason. The screen gets brighter and you see white thick transparent lines. Happened to my cell phone and my dads.

i had a E-715 as well as two other members in my family and it sucks! do not get it!!!
the screen color fades so much that it turns almost white and you can't see anything. this happened to all 3 of our phones over time. i just got rid of mine and got a samsung E635 instead and i love it. camera quality is much better than the E-715. my E-715 used to shock itself from time to time and delete some of my phone numbers too.
if i were you i wouldn't get it. if you already bought it, i would suggest you re-sell it. yup, it's that bad.
