purchasing monitors...need opinions

what would u pick? a Sony Trinitron CPD-E100 15" or a LG Collins 775FT Flatron 17"? i don't care about the size (please don't have to judge by it) but i want to know which monitor among the two is a "better" monitor.
 
The Sony is a better made monitor than the Goldstar but I couldn't deal with just a 15" screen. So if I had to take one and the picture on the LG was okay, I'd go with that one.
 
I don't think you can accurately "judge" monitors of different sizes that aren't on two opposite sides of quality. A greater size will bring intangible benefits that aren't listed in any specs. If you feel comfortable with the larger one, just get it. Don't feel compelled to buy according to the "better" brand.
