purchasing a new comp

i ordered the following system and everything is great except for the video card.
i simply dont know what to choose...

E4300
PQI Turbo DDR2 2048MB 800MHz Dual Channel CL5-5-5-15
Asus P5N-E SLI nForce 650i
WD 250GB 16MB 7200RPM SATA2
Sony DVD+/-RW x18
Antec SONATA II 450W
Tuniq Tower 120mm

should i take a 7600GT or wait for a 8600GT ?
 
i would too, but unfortunatly its more than i can afford.
i can afford up to a 8600 or 7900...

and i'd like to ask if i made a wise choice of the board (if you consider a budget system).
 
See if you can strech your budget to get a 320mb 8800 GTS its the best bang for the buck high perfomance wise

edit can be had for around 250-260 AR
