Purchased Windows 7 from Amazon

Hey Everyone,

I purchased Windows 7 from Amazon and the seller sent me a cd-key along with a .ISO file for me to download from their one-drive. Is there a way to look at the checksum or anything else to see if it's legit and not some malware? Guessing I could always install it and upgrade to windows 10 that would use a fresh .iso?

The iso file will probably be fine. The license key may be pirated or MSDN key and may not activate. Best bet is call Microsoft to verify the key is valid.The hash numbers are listed here:

If you are planning to upgrade to Windows 10 anyway, just install Windows 10 fresh and use the 7 key to activate.
