Purchased an album on Google play and it disappeared?

So I bought an album on google play last year after I got my Nexus 7, it showed up and was working fine for a while. I go to listen to it again and now it's gone from my library, it doesn't show up at all in google music and if I look in the play store it just shows up like I haven't bought it.

The purchase is still in my history so I e-mailed them about it, hopefully they can resolve it. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I probably won't buy any more music from Google play if it's like this, I don't like the idea of my music purchases just disappearing for unknown reasons.

Thats odd. I bought a few albums ftom GP but it was such a pain in the ass to deal with that I just use amazon mp3 now.

I've bought probably $100 worth of music off Play, never had anything vanish on me before. If you launch Google Music does it show up?

So I found where it went, it was in my music trash. I guess I had deleted it with the other albums from the artist when I was uploading them again. It's pretty stupid though, in the store it doesn't say something like "already purchased", it just shows the normal price for the full album. I assumed that you would be able to re-download it as much as you wanted once you purchased it on the play store but it doesn't look like that's the case.

If you stream it to whatever device you are using it should re-download it for you, I've done it literally hundreds of times for some of the music I have.

Yeah I'm always streaming it on my phone/tablet, but when I deleted it I was on the webapp on my PC (just trying to clean up my music) and after that it didn't show up anywhere. After I restored it from the trash it shows up again but it's weird that it would let you permanently delete it from your account and have no way of adding it again.
