Are manufacturers starting to phase away from your regular 15" and going for the 15.4"? I gotta get use to the extra wide screen. I just bought an Acer from microcenter since I couldnt stand another day w/o a computer.
 
Manufacturer's aren't phasing away 15" entirely, but 15" screens do fall into one of two categories generally: high-end, high-quality business/professional use (i.e. Thinkpad) or low-end value model (Several HP/Compaq models, base-line Toshiba's, base-line Gateway's).
