3 weeks ago i rented 50 shades of gray (TO WATCH WITH MY WIFE I SWEAR!! oh, and the movie was terrible) from redbox.

cliffs:
- redbox movie flew off car and gone for good
- redbox refunded me $15 out of the $36 (17 day max charge)
- 50 shades of gray was a terrible movie.

Do you still use Redbox?
Have you seen the newest 50 shades movies (unrated)? Asking for my wife.

Yep I still use Redbox regularly, but I have not seen another 50 Shades movie since that POS.

I rented The Intruder last night from Redbox and watched it. Was better than I expected.

I haven't touched a Redbox in probably 3+ years. Whats the point anymore? Aren't there tons of streaming services where you can just stream it to your home?

Given, I guess for ultra quality people it's not going to be bluray quality.

Most newer releases won't be on streaming platforms right away I've found. And the cost to rent a movie from Amazon is generally more expensive than redbox, so if it's not totally inconvenient, I'll go to redbox.

Most new releases are streaming on FIOS before Redbox has em. Usually like 3-4 weeks early.

Yeah I thought I remembered reading articles that Hollywood lobbying that RedBox actually gets them LATER than other places.... Basically, giving hollywood-based owned streaming platforms a leg up.

There is nothing I am so desperate to see that I need to view it immediately

Shit I even saw the latest Star Trek & Star Wars late.

We haven't had a redbox in my town since some dumbass accidentally pressed the gas instead of the brake and ran right through it and the circle k wall about 3 years ago. It was the only 1 in town so we pretty much stopped renting from them. About a year ago, we got some knock off called dvd xpress i think and we've used it frequently. otherwise, we would still be using RB.

Maybe that's the case - I cut cable years ago though so if they end up on cable movie platforms before other streaming platforms I guess I wouldn't know.

Besides quality redbox runs coupon codes all the time. So I usually pay between $0 - $1 to rent something. And our location is pretty convenient so I don't really have to go out of my way. If it wasn't convenient then I wouldn't use it

Did you get to see super duper quality skin with the Blu-Ray version of the movie?
