Took a look at the latest of the light weights for this old PII that was given to me.
Was amazed how good they looked and how much was in them.
neither recognized my SB live card with Damn Small Linux was able to download a couple of .dsl files and configure it. Looses it on boot though guess I would need a HD install for it to stay.
With puppy linux I wasn't so sucessful alsa was not in the .pup files so tried to do it another route and no Joy.
Sure makes this old toad of a machine fly though.
Any other distro and I think I might have to upgrade the video ram it has an old AGP 2x intel 740 chip in it so was maybe thinking of a 64 MB PCI card???
