Mr. Lutrell is quite the upstanding citizen but these punks deserve to rot in prison. Hopefully they get a harsh sentence.

By the way this post was directed more toward the "news" part of this forum rather than political. I posted Glenn Beck's link as I thought that had the most information regarding what exactly happened.

I didn't want to turn this into a argumentative thread about Glenn Beck, rather a story about a great citizen and solider of this Country who deserves our respect.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas ? Authorities say a soldier honored for surviving the worst single-day loss of life in Navy SEAL history chased three men through three counties after suspecting they killed his dog.

A Texas Department of Public Safety spokeswoman says Marcus Luttrell was involved in the high-speed chase April 1 after finding his yellow Labrador shot outside his Huntsville home. Onalaska police officers stopped the suspects.

Luttrell was awarded the Navy Cross for combat heroism in 2006. He is the lone SEAL team member to survive a June 2005 firefight with the Taliban in Afghanistan.

The Walker County Sheriff's Department investigated the death of Luttrell's dog. They charged Michael John Edmonds II, 21, and Alfonzo Hernandez, 24, with cruelty to a nonlivestock animal.

As for these kids, they deserve more than the law will probably give them. I can only hope they try to mess with this guy again and wind up in the ICU. They are career criminals and/or murderers in the making
 
They should never waste their money on lottery tickets again because they had to have used all of their good luck getting caught before that guy could get them.

We had a guy not far from here break into a lady's house, kill both of her yorkshire terriers and proceeded to skin one and behead the other. He then slashed their family's vehicle tires before leaving. Thankfully, they caught the guy. Killing animals for no reason other than malevolence is disturbing.

Edit... Article says they were 21 and 24. That's far from teens so at least they can be charged as adults.

So this is a legit story about an American Hero who had his dog killed by a couple of punks. A dog that was given to him to help him recover from being tortured in defense of his country.. and your only response is you can't give a shit because its Glenn Beck promoting the story?

I like Sheppard Smith.. if that's who you are talking about. I'd like to see him rip on Glenn Beck. I didn't mind him until I saw the 9/11 video and him crying. Then I realized he was a douche.

 
I refuse to click on a few site because I will not support them and Beck's is one of them, I will not run up his click count. I will read the story elsewhere if i feel it's important.
 
CLASS A MISDEMEANOR.

An individual adjudged guilty of a Class A misdemeanor shall be punished by:
