punkbuster not working on windows 7

I cant get punkbuster to work on my windows 7 laptop. I have the punkbustera service, but no punkbuster b service. I've downloaded and ran the installer again, as well as the tester, and the tester comes back positive and says I have everything I need and that its running correctly, however, when I go to play, after 2-3 seconds, I'm kicked because of punkbusterb.

GRR.. No firewall is up, no weird settings, I've reinstalled pbuster like I said and rebooted.

Any ideas?

I assume you ran the punkbuster update tool and updated the files for your game. I know that punkbuster didnt work for all games on the RC. What version of Win7 are you using? Its possible they might not have released a windows 7 compatible version yet.

I only have pnkbstra.exe in my task list not B. I am using Windows 7 x64. Also what game are you trying to play?

ran both of those but couldn't add a game in pbsetup since its quake live online in a browser.

quake live is what I'm playing.

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7260]
