Back in the mid to late 80's, I used to skateboard a bit and listen to punk songs with my friends. I vaguely remember a punk group who sang about jerry falwell and also a song about nuns sleeping together. I can hear the lyrics in my head, but cant for the life of me, find the group online or anything. I don't think its Wasted Youth, aka, LA's Wasted Youth.

Any idea what I'm talking about? The final part of the song about Jerry Falwell went "You are not my God!" ..

GRR, this has been bothering me for a few days now.

FYI, it was all Wasted Youth.. The songs I was thinking of were off the Album titled "Get Out of My Yard!"

I bought the Reagan's In cd from Amazon and it came with Get out of my Yard to my surprise. And the Jerry Fallwell song is called Tormented. The nun song is called Blind Nuns.

WOO HOO.

In 1986, my friends and I were 14 and skateboarders. We were into the scene, man. GBH, Dead Kennedys, DRI, Agnostic Front, Suicidal Tendencies, SOD, etc.

We were so cool... :D

That was the year I got into punk as well. A girl played me Suicidal's "Institutionalized" and I knew I found what was missing all my life :)

I'm looking for this song too, can't find it on youtube, but the band is called the Falwells' it's actually Jerry Falwell's nephew I believe.

I got into punk about at about 14 in 1997. Bad Religion, NOFX, Pennywise, etc. I still listen to pretty much the same music now at 32. :awe:
