Punisher: War Zone

IGN has a teaser for Punisher: War Zone. As much as I hated the first movie (despite Thomas Jane actually being a pretty good choice), I'm really hoping this is good. The trailer holds potential. And Ray Stevenson is awesome.

I just watched a couple of trailers and while I don't think it's a guaranteed hit, it does have potential as long as it doesn't try to be a PG 13.

I'm not sure if you've ever seen the HBO series Rome, but the same guy plays a character named Titus Pullo (sp?) who is absolutely bad ass. Furthermore, I frankly (no pun intended) felt the last iteration of the punisher was far to mainsteam and perhaps even... cerebral for the punisher universe. I felt Jane brought too much emotion to the character and defiled the entire premise of "The Punisher." I hope they don't repeat the mistake with the new actor, and by all accounts I've read or seen, they won't.
