I just watched this movie, and I really hated it.

Anyone else see it? Opinions?

I've heard good but haven't seen it yet. I've loved everything P.T.A. has done so far so I'm guessing I'll like it.

I liked PTA's other stuff...I might have to watch it again. Truthfully, I was surfing the web while I watched it. :p

Watching The Hours right now.

It was my favorite movie of last year. I love the cinematography and the bright colors.

You... hated... it...?

You must be one of those people that somehow finds Adam Sandler's other drivel funny or something.

While I thought Magnolia was one of the most overrated movies ever, I absolutley loved Punch-Drunk Love.

I loved Magnolia...probably watched it like 8 times or so. Just a great dialogue/acting flick.

See, I dunno. I watched it a while ago, so I don't remember everything, but I just don't remember being very interested in the plot. Like the idea was certainly novel, but I never felt the slighted attached to any of the characters, so the movie had zero impact on me while I watched it. Afterwards I remember thinking that Tom Cruise's character would have made a much better film basis.

But again, I saw it so long ago I can't really get specific. I really should watch it again.

Whether or not people loved it or hated it because of the story/characters etc.. you can't help but appreciate the essence of moviemaking that went into the film.. the wide angle shots, the use of colors etc etc just awesome

I though it was alright... he didn't go as postal as he should have on those dudes, though. I was really wanting him to beat the crap out of them.

Magnolia wasn't good - my brother likes it, but I think he, like many "film" watchers, are more enamored with the thought of being part of non-mainstream culture, than the actual substance. Artists with an 'e'.

Punch-Drunk love sucked harder.

I wish I had the time to sit around and watch movies all day.

Punch Drunk Love was a decent movie, though.

I didn't particularly care for the movie. Acting quality was pretty good though. Overall I think this movie was slightly less annoying than Rushmore. (another weak movie with good acting)

I also loved the movie. It was very well made and had a really nice look to it.

Note: Rushmore is not a weak movie.
