Let's say that a network closet/cabinet needs to be moved to a different room. Without ripping everything out and starting over, is there a method by which the current cables can be extended?
What about using a punch down block such as a 66 or 110 wiring block to tie into the ends of the cables already in the closet and also to reconnect, and thus, extend new cabling from that will eventually terminate in a different room?
