Surprised the heck out of me-Keene is a great little city (emphasis on little). It's basically a college town-I'm guessing about 20k population with a main street/downtown about five blocks long. The cops I've met there are pretty laid back too-the same sort you find in any college town.

Sounds like a bunch of drunken sh*theads decided to mess things up for everyone. The college I went to had an awesome spring fling for a couple of decades until some clowns messed it up in the mid-nineties.

My family and I were at the pumpkin festival that day and had no idea this was going on. Apparently the afternoon riots took place 2-3 blocks away from the town center where the festival was. We started leaving at 6:30PM and I was wondering why the crowd seemed to be transitioning from families to college students. Didn't realize that the university campus was right beside the area where the festival was. Luckily we were gone well before the second riot occurred that night.
