Some time ago I bought a watercooling kit that came with one of those small outside water boxes with the pump inside. Because of my setup and the fact I have a bit of hose, I dont think this little pump can do as good as it should anymore so I went out and bought a bigger box for a pond pump that I have. While testing for leaks and such I noticed that the water got rather warm, I know they produce some heat but I didnt think it was as much as it was.
What I would like to know is what kind of temp difference there is between a sub pump line a pond pump and a pump like the Eheim's that dont have to be in water? The other question is where could I get a Eheim pump? I know dangerden.com sells them but I was hopping to find a local store first, suggestions?
