Pulse / Heart Rate Monitors?

Howdy,

I'm looking to get some sort of hear trate / pulse monitor for my wife so when she works out she knows when to take it easy. She's pregnant right now so she'll also be checking her heart rate during the day. I don't want the kind that have a big strap to wear around your chest because she'll also wear it during the day.

I've found a couple items that look just like a watch but have two little sensors on them that you put your fingers on. Anyone every ised anything like thsi to know if it works well?

Polar makes a sports bra that accomodates the plastic part of the strap that has the EKG sensors on it. This might be an option for her.

And I believe that some gym equipment now takes advantage of Polar wireless technology. :thumbsup:
