is this a well known fact? after watching 5 minutes of the horribly cut and dubbed version on tv the other day I had to see the real thing on dvd. but this time I'm watching the "extended trivia" track which is like a pop up video kind of deal.

when Butch goes back to his apartment to get his watch, that is Marsellus's gun on the counter. he had gone out to get coffee for him and Vincent. that's also why Vincent didn't react when Butch came in and made noise, he thought it was Marsellus returning.

whoa.

that would make sense, why would a gagnsta in a house leave his gun on the counter, if he was suppose to be alone. i never put two and two together. i guess i should watch my extras on my collectors edition dvd.

a lot of it is about Tarantino's relationships with the actors, different movies they've been in, etc. Also just about every name used is either a friend of Quentin's or an homage to a film he likes.

remember that it wasn't until after Butch crashed into him with his car that he ended up saving Marcelles.

Butch screwed him by not going down in the fight. Butch then saved his life from those sodomists so they were even.

Doesn't make sense. Marsellus Wallace is not a hitman. He would get someone else to do the killing. Also, Marsellus is certainly not going to go on a coffee run for anybody. You bring him coffee, he doesn't fetch it for you.

Makes perfect sense to me. It was because he thought he was alone that he figured it was safe to leave the gun on the counter.

He was filling in for Jules who had recently quit to 'walk the earth' :p

Marsellus strikes me as more of a "hands-on" boss. He seems genuinely friendly with Vincent Vega and I would bet he'd want to have a few words with Bruce before he ended him.

Yeah, he did say he was prepared to "scouer the earth" for him. He was probably angry enough to get hands on with the apartment portion on the search.
