Well, the injury that started it all last year is back. Playing Ultimate on Friday, felt a small pop, and now my leg hurts when I lift it backwards (with knee bent) and occasionally when I bend my knee (and other random times). :|
Anyone have advice on exercises to do to strengthen the hammy in the future? I can't deal with having this injury popping up every year.
Oh, and yes, I've started my RICE routine for treatment, and I have compression shorts to use once I start playing again to keep the hamstring healthy.
I'm going to start a better stretching routine as soon as it's healthy to begin it again (most places say 3-5 days after injury).
